Taz Discusses The ‘Real Magic’ Of Pro Wrestling

AEW fans were left in disbelief as Hangman Page lost the AEW World Championship to Samoa Joe at Full Gear. Page’s loss was mostly due to Taz’s son, Hook, re-joining The Opps as he hit Hangman with the belt.

It was a shocking moment, no doubt, and one that Taz broke down on social media, “I learned a long time ago, the wrestling business is not as much about the physical. It’s more of the connection emotionally to the audience either negative or positive.”

“It’s really about making people FEEL something,” he continued. “Make them laugh, make them sad, make them mad, make them THINK…that’s the REAL magic of the game.”

Hook had teamed with Eddie Kingston earlier in the show to take down Anthony Henry and JD Drake. Ultimately, it turns out he was the set-up man all along. Now, he’s back with Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Katsuyori Shibata as The Opps now hold two championships in AEW.
