REPORT: Netflix, Paramount & Comcast Submit Non-Binding Bids For Warner Bros. Discovery

Non-binding bids have been submitted.
Formal bids have been made for the acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery. Deadline has a report which notes that Netflix, Paramount, and Comcast have all submitted bids to acquire all or part of Warner Bros. Discovery.
Multiple sources confirmed the bidding to the outlet. A deadline for non-binding bids came on November 20th. After the particulars are discussed amongst the involved parties, there will be another round of bids to determine if bidders would like to submit final, binding offers.
W.B.D. indicates that they believe the sale could be done by late December 2025. The transaction would require at least a year to be cleared by regulators.
Deadline notes that Paramount has been in the best standing in part because they are bidding for W.B.D. in its entirety. Netflix and Comcast are seeking the studios and streaming part of the company.
In early 2025, W.B.D. announced plans to split the company into two come 2026. One side would have the studios and streaming, while the other side has the linear networks.
All Elite Wrestling is under the Warner Bros. Discovery umbrella, and on the Netflix end, WWE is under their umbrella.
