NJPW’s El Desperado Reveals Back Fracture
An update on Desperado.
El Desperado was scheduled to be in action at New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s November 16th show, but he ended up being pulled from the event due to a back injury.
Desperado took to X and provided an update. He posted an X-ray and noted that he visited an orthopedic surgeon and learned that he had fractured a bone in his back a long time ago.

Desperado is advertised for NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20 on January 4th, 2026. He’ll be in a four-way match with SHO, Kosei Fujita, and Taiji Ishimori to determine a new number one contender to the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship.
