Tony Khan Says He’s Rebuffed Media Rights Deals For ROH, Would Still Love To Do A Deal With WBD

Tony Khan comments on a potential media rights deal for ROH.

Warner Bros. Discovery is the home of AEW, with Dynamite airing on TBS, Collision airing on TNT, both shows simulcasting on Max, and pay-per-views being available on Max.

ROH, which is also owned by Khan, is currently available on HonorClub for weekly shows and pay-per-views.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani on The Ariel Helwani Show, Khan was asked if he believes there is room in the media landscape for ROH given so many platforms having ties to TKO (WWE and UFC).

“Yeah, absolutely. At times, there have been opportunities to do things with Ring of Honor, but they have to make sense. We did this insanely awesome, great media rights deal that is so good for AEW, and I think we deliver really good value, and it gets great value for us. We did this deal where it sets up Dynamite, Collision, and pay-per-views. Is there room for Ring of Honor? I absolutely believe so. There have been good conversations with us and them. I have had other media partners reach out about doing things with Ring of Honor and other companies we have never worked with. It has to make sense for everybody. The most important relationship for AEW will be with Warner Bros. Discovery. Anything I do, I want it to make sense for everybody. I have actually rebuffed other offers from the outside at times. If we do it, I would love to do something with Warner Bros. Discovery, but it has to be a deal that makes sense for everybody. It doesn’t have to be as big as the AEW deal, but it still has to be pretty good,” said Khan.

Elsewhere during the interview, Khan discussed his relationship with WBD. You can find his full comments here.
