Wheeler Yuta Reflects On Blood & Guts Match, ‘It Felt Like Where I Belong’

Wheeler Yuta belonged in that Blood & Guts cage.
The Death Riders are now seven days removed from their brutal Blood & Guts match against Darby Allin, Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly, Orange Cassidy, and Mark Briscoe. Time will tell how the group bounces back from another crushing loss, but Wheeler Yuta knows that he belonged in that match.
Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Undisputed for a new interview, Yuta recalled a moment in the bout where he knew he belonged inside of that Blood & Guts cage.
“As pro wrestlers, we really overthink things and put a lot of extra thought into what we’re doing. There’s a lot of good from that, but there are also times when you can just exist and let it be. This was one of those moments for me. As crazy as the surroundings were, I remember thinking to myself, ‘This is the place I should be right now.’ That Blood and Guts cage, it felt like where I belong.”
