CM Punk Honors John Cena After WWE Raw
John Cena competed in his final WWE Raw match on Monday at Madison Square Garden.
Cena teamed with Sheamus & Rey Mysterio to defeat the Judgment Day (JD McDonagh, Finn Balor, & Dominik Mysterio).
It was Cena’s 34th match at MSG.
After the show went off the air, CM Punk got on the mic and noted that when he, Cody Rhodes, and the Usos (Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso) were just getting started, Cena was on top. He praised Cody and the Usos (Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso) for now steering the ship, and said the fans of New York are who truly steer the ship.
He then led a “Thank You Cena” chant and asked for Cena’s music to be played one more.
Fans can watch the full segment in the video above.
John Cena is set to have his final two matches at WWE Survivor Series against Dominik Mysterio and one on December 13th against the winner of the Last Time Is Now Tournament.
