Matt Cardona Says WWE Return Tan Was All Self-Tan Done The Night Before, ‘Props To Chelsea Green For Rubbing Me’
Matt Cardona (Zack Ryder) made his return to WWE on SmackDown as the mystery opponent for LA Knight in the Last Time is Now Tournament.
Fans were quick to notice Cardona’s WWE-ready tan, joking that he must have been preparing for weeks.
“It was all self-tan the night before,” Cardona told Sam Roberts on Notsam Wrestling. “Props to Chelsea Green for rubbing me. This is the first time Chelsea Green has seen the Broski hotel tan job. In the man thong. All the different product. The creams, lotions, sprays. It’s not just one product. It’s a mixture of products. Chelsea helped rub me down.”
Speaking on his Major Wrestling Figure podcast, Matt Cardona confirmed that his WWE return was a one-time appearance.
