Tito Santana Comments On WWE-AAA Acquisition, Thanks The ‘New WWE’

Tito Santana is happy for AAA.

During WrestleMania 41 week in Las Vegas, WWE announced their acquisition of AAA, one of the top lucha libre promotions in Mexico.

Since then, the crossover has been strong. As of publish time, Dominik Mysterio, Chelsea Green, and Ethan Page hold gold in the company.

Speaking with Joel Torres of Contralona for a new interview, Tito Santana spoke about the merger, saying that lucha libre has always been ahead of its time.

“Now fans all over the world are going to see the kind of wrestling AAA has, the kind of wrestling they’ve always done in Mexico. For me, they were ahead of their time, what Mexican wrestlers were doing in the ring. I’m proud to be a part of this and to be Mexican, and I thank the new WWE.”

Rey Mysterio was recently confirmed for AAA’s Alianzas event on November 28. Learn more by clicking here.
