Bobby Fish Explains The Difference Between Tony Khan And Triple H’s Management Styles

Bobby Fish discusses Tony Khan and Triple H.

Speaking with TMZ’s Inside The Ring podcast, Bobby Fish was discusses his AEW match with CM Punk and how Punk was in Tony Khan’s ear as soon as he got to the back after this match. Fish stated that Khan and Punk walked away from each other when he approached them.

Inside The Ring proceeded to ask Fish if that incident soured his relationship with Tony Khan.

“Yeah, but I don’t know that my relationship with Tony was like — Tony is pretty quiet and reserved, I always found it a little bit of a difficult process to get an audience with Tony. Rightfully so, he’s the head of the ship there and there’s so many parts and there’s so much going in and out. He’s a busy man, I’m not knocking him in anyway for that. He’s trying to manage the chaos but I certainly don’t believe that helped our relationship in any way unfortunately.”

Fish was then asked to explain the management-style differences between Khan and Triple H.

“Yes. I think Hunter’s a bit more of a presence, a physical presence. To get an audience with Hunter is not always possible but inevitable. So, as a performer, you kind of know like, ‘Okay, well shit, it might not be today but I’ll get him before the end of the week.’ You understand that it’s just that he’s busy. Tony is busy too, so I can’t say that doesn’t hold up as well. I never doubted that if I needed Hunter’s ear for something, that I wouldn’t eventually get there. With Tony, it didn’t happen. I can only go based on that because I’m not here to shit talk Tony either. If I’m being honest about the difference between the two, that would be my answer.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Fish commented on possibly making a return to WWE. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
