Powerhouse Hobbs dismantles Adam Page.
On Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Hobbs and Page will face off in a Falls Count Anywhere match. This bout was made after Hobbs took out Page on the previous week’s show, slamming him off the entrance stage and through a table.
In a digital promo before the show, Hobbs had a ton of fighting words for the AEW World Champion, encouraging him to ask his god to protect him.
“Hangman, how’s your back? You’ve got a couple new friends and you’re walking around with bass in your voice, I’m supposed to be shook? Picture me being scared of a man that breathers the same air as me. You see Hangman, tonight, winning is secondary. Tonight, I’m a man looking you in your face and I’m telling you I’m gonna hurt you. I’m gonna beat you up Hangman. I want you to do yourself a favor, matter of fact, do me a favor. While you’re sitting in your locker room tonight looking at that AEW World Championship, I want you to look up. I want you to ask your maker, I want you to ask your higher being, I want you to ask your god to protect you from me tonight. You see Hangman, I’m willing to take my last breath. I’m willing to sin, sin, sin. Tonight, you stand face-to-face with a 6”2, 269 pound man that is crazy, that’s big, that’s black, that’s jacked. Tonight, I open up the book of Hobbs.
