WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event To Feature ‘Exhibition Matches’ Featuring Main Roster vs. NXT
John Cena made a big announcement concerning WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13th.
Not only will Cena have his last match at the event, but Cena announced that the evening will feature “exhibition matches” with main roster superstars issuing open challenges to the best that NXT has to offer.
Cena said that he wanted to close the chapter on his career, and highlight the future of the business by giving an opportunity that he got when he first started.
"On my last performance, on December 13th at Saturday Nights Main Event… It is a night to close one chapter, but it is also going to be a night of opportunity!"

Cena’s final opponent at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event will be determined via the Last Time is Now tournament, which began on November 10th.
