Matt Cardona Praises Wife Chelsea Green After Reclaiming US Title

Matt Cardona is often asked for advice, and his answer is always the same. After his wife, Chelsea Green, recaptured the United States Championship on Friday Night Smackdown, he took to social media to celebrate her accomplishment.

“When wrestlers ask me for advice, I say don’t quit…that’s it. You might make it if you don’t. You definitely won’t make it if you do. Chelsea Green is proof of that,” Cardona said.

He continued, “A career of highs and lows…didn’t complain…did the work…did the extra work…was Alwayz Ready! (she’ll hate that I said the part). I’m very proud of you babe…I love you.”

Even while getting his signature catchphrase into the post, his message spoke for itself. Green, who was fired by WWE in 2020, has worked her way back to the top. She is now a two-time United States Champion and is also currently one half of the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions with Ethan Page.
