Yoshiki Inamura is the brand new GHC Heavyweight Champion.

Since November of last year up until August of this year, Inamura has been competing in WWE NXT, away from his home promotion of Pro Wrestling NOAH. In recent weeks, Inamura has been competing more actively in his home promotion and on November 8th, he would challenge for the GHC Heavyweight Championship.

At Pro Wrestling NOAH Star Navigation on November 8th, Yoshiki Inamura would challenge for the title against KENTA. The bout would last over 15 minutes before Inamura would hit his top rope splash to dethrone the former champion.

Also at Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Saturday event, Noah Marufuji would use a DDT variant inspired by a botch from CM Punk and Jey Uso. You can read more about that here.
