SHIMMER Co-Founder Dave Prazak Reveals He Planned To Make Becky Lynch The First SHIMMER Champion

Becky Lynch was going to be the first SHIMMER Champion.

To celebrate 20 years since the SHIMMER promotion’s debut, there was a feature piece published on Uncrowned by Phil Schneider.

One of the individuals interviewed for the feature was SHIMMER co-founder Dave Prazak. He shared that he planned to make Becky Lynch his first champion, but Lynch ended up suffering a head injury that led to her taking six years off from pro wrestling.

“Becky Lynch was one of the first international people we brought in, and I was going to make her my first champion before she got injured.”
