Dominik Mysterio Reaches 200 Days As WWE Intercontinental Champion

Dominik Mysterio continues to win.

On Thursday, November 6, Dominik Mysterio’s reign with the WWE Intercontinental Championship hit the 200 day mark. As many fans will remember, ‘Dirty Dom’ won the title during night two of WWE WrestleMania 41, defeating Bron Breakker, Finn Balor, and Penta in a four-way bout.

Since then, Mysterio has defended the title on nine separate occasions, defeating names like Penta, Rusev, AJ Styles, and Octagon Jr. Mysterio also added the AAA Mega Championship to his collection along the way, defeating El Hijo del Vikingo for the title back in September.

Mysterio’s reign with the Intercontinental Championship is far and away the longest title reign of his career so far, surpassing his 67 day and 74 day reigns with the NXT North American Championship in 2023. It’s also longer than his WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship reign with Rey Mysterio, which lasted 63 days back in 2021.

Cody Rhodes recently revealed that Dominik Mysterio is viewed as a future face of the company in WWE. Fans can check out Rhodes’ full comments on the matter by clicking here.
