Double Title Matches Made Official For NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20

Two double title matches are officially locked in for the show.
Starting 2026 for New Japan Pro-Wrestling will be Wrestle Kingdom 20 at the Tokyo Dome on January 4th. There was a Wrestle Kingdom press conference on 11/4, and the company made two double title matches official for their biggest show of the year.
After successfully retaining the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at NJPW Hiroshi Tanahashi ~ Final Homecoming, Takeshita was approached by IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion Yota Tsuji. It was soon made official that the two talents will clash in the main event of Wrestle Kingdom with both of their titles on the line.
The reigning World of Stardom and NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Saya Kamitani was confronted by IWGP Women’s Champion Syuri after the main event of STARDOM ‘Crimson Nightmare.’
Kamitani will put her STRONG Women’s Title on the line against Syuri’s IWGP Women’s Title in a double title bout at Wrestle Kingdom.
