Sheamus Fights Off Dominik Mysterio To Help AJ Styles And Dragon Lee Retain WWE World Tag Team Titles On WWE Raw
Sheamus helps AJ Styles and Dragon Lee retain their titles.
As the night winded down, the November 3 episode of WWE Raw featured a huge title match, as AJ Styles and Dragon Lee defended the WWE World Tag Team Championships against the Judgment Day duo of Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. This match came just two weeks after Styles and Lee defeated McDonagh and Balor to capture the belts.
The finish of the match was very busy, as Finn Balor accidentally nailed McDonagh with a Coup De Grace. AJ Styles temporarily disposed of Balor before nailing McDonagh with a Phenomenal Forearm. The pin was broken up by a returning Balor.
Balor then instructed Dominik Mysterio to hit Styles with his Intercontinental Championship. Sheamus entered the picture and prevented that from happening. With the referee distracted, Balor nailed Styles with Sheamus’ shillelagh. McDonagh nearly pinned Styles, but Dragon Lee broke up the cover.
Then, Lee took out Balor with a dive on the outside. Styles caught McDonagh off the top rope and destroyed him with a Styles Clash to score the victory.
