UFC Fight Night: Garcia vs. Onama
While not as hyped as UFC 321, the UFC Fight Night: Garcia vs. Onama promises to be a richer and better outing. The hype that followed the last event died in the first round of the heavyweight title bout between Tom Aspinall and Cyril Gane which ended as a no contest. This Fight Night comes with less expectations, and thus we’re inclined to believe it’s going to surprise many viewers with the spectacle.
First of all, it is going to be the first event at UFC Apex since August. What makes this card worth watching is the fact that many of the fighters are products of Dana White’s Contender Series. This means that you will have a chance to see some of the future champions for the first time at the biggest stage.
Early November Fight Night is not an event you want to miss out on, and with this quick read and an even quicker view at these expert picks and predictions for UFC Fight Night, you will be set to go at the November 1st fight night to win some money and not only to enjoy high end fighting. Let’s start with the main event of the evening.
Steve Garcia vs. David Onama
Garcia vs. Onama has been a featherweight bout long in the making. Garcia’s road to the top has been nothing short of extraordinary. The man has started his career on a regional level and climbed all the way to the top of the mountain of MMA which UFC certainly is. While his early struggles in the UFC and 1-2 record are part of his tale, it was in the lightweight division. Since moving to featherweight Garcia is on a six win run, with five finishes.
In the same time span, David Onama has an 6-1 record, with four consecutive wins. Onama is not one to shy from a challenge, considering that he started his UFC run on a short notice fight vs. Mason Jones. While he lost his debut fight, it was also a fight outside of his natural weight, so after a return to featherweight, he showed the world what he was made of.
The featherweight division is filled with talent, and the winner of this bout will go onto better and bigger things, considering that they’re currently equally ranked with Garcia being 12th and Onama 13th in the current featherweight rankings. After this Fight Night, the winner could be close to fighting one of the top contenders and putting his name into title contention. Those who plan to Bet on UFC Fight Night – Garcia vs Onama, will have an interesting challenge as currently the two fighters are on a similar UFC trajectory. According to odds the early favorite is Steve Garcia with 1.75 odds while a win on David Onama is paid with 2.09 odds.
Waldo Cortes Acosta vs. Ante Delija
MMA fans are eager to see Ante Delija fight again after a successful UFC debut . Him and Acosta are looking to cement their place in the top 10 heavyweights in the company in a not so impressive division. Waldo Cortes has an impressive 7-2 UFC record but is entering this bout after an unfortunate defeat against Sergei Pavlovich in Shanghai. With a win, he would get back on track, and with the current state of the division a few consecutive wins would make him a title contender in no time.
The 34 year old Dominican fighter will have a tough challenge in the Croatian behemoth Delija, who made a name for himself outside of the UFC. With a strong 26-6 MMA record he has proven his worth to Dana White after taking down Marcin Tybura via knockout in the first round of his debut. As a good friend of the current champion Tom Aspinall, Ante is seen as an ideal title contender that would create one of the best storylines in the history of UFC where two friends would go all out in a title bout.
After a letdown that UFC 321 was, the heavyweight division is in an even worse state than it was in the aftermath of Jon Jones leaving, and a win here would immediately put both Acosta and Delija in a top 5 fight in the division, and one step closer to the title. Ante is currently favoured to win this one with 1.73 odds, while Acosta has 2.12 odds tied to this win.
Jeremiah Wells vs. Themba Gorimbo
Jeremiah Wells returns to welterweight and the first opportunity to set the record straight is the bout vs. Themba Gorimbo. Wells has been on an almost two year hiatus from MMA, and it all came after going on a skid of two defeats. Before his layoff, Wells was hot in the octagon and on a run of three consecutive finishes. Yet, at the moment, he is finding himself looking for a first win since 2023.
While hungry for a win, Wells will not have an easy job against Themba Gorimbo. Unlike Wells, the Zimbabwean fighter is having his life and UFC career tied up, after four consecutive wins, and an even better run in expanding his social media following. While Themba was impressive against Brahimaj and Price, he was out of his depth at UFC 310 where he lost to Vicente Luque. Now, he will be looking to get back to winning ways, and the bout vs. Jeremiah Wells. The bookies believe that Themba has what it takes to take a win home from November 1st Fight Night, where his odds are 1.72 while those of 2.14 are set to Wells.
Isaac Dulgarian vs. Yadier del Valle
Dulgarian vs. Del Valle are just the type of fight we urge casual fans to pay attention to. Both men are promising featherweights, and this fight night is their opportunity to get higher in rankings. While it’s not nice to have favorites among young fighters, Dulgarian is the prototype UFC simply loves. He came to the UFC with an undefeated record. What’s even more impressive is that no fighter has managed to take him past the first round. Yet, UFC was a different story, and he currently has 1 defeat after losing to Christian Rodriguez via split decision, only to get back to winning column after submitting Brendon Marotte.
Del Valle, as one of the finest prospects to go through the DWCS, also entered UFC with an undefeated record. On his debut he managed to keep his record intact with an impressive first round stoppage win vs. Connor Matthews. With a win against Isaac Dulgarian, Yadier del Valle would keep his record intact but also increase his number of wins to ten. Considering the previous records these fighters hold and their UFC ambitions, this is certainly a duel you do not want to miss. While Dulgarian is heavily favoured with 1.40, odds, the underdog Yadier with odds set at 2.95 has more than good chances to create a first surprise of the evening here.
Charles Radtke vs. Daniel Frunza
While we remain excited for every fight on this card, if you knew just how good these two heavy hitters are, you’d be excited too. Chuck Buffalo, and that’s a nickname you’ll remember, stands at 3-2 record after losing a bout to Mike Malott. While not a rookie by any means, the 35 year old fighter from Chicago can still take on any fighter in the UFC, and still has high aspirations for his career. As one of those MMA combatants who likes to throw hands you can bet that he will be looking to end the fight in the first round. Also known for his trash talk, it is a shame we don’t hear from him more often.
Frunza, on the other hand, is looking to establish himself as one of the potential stars for years to come striking hard. During his professional MMA career, Frunza has impressive eight finishes in only nine fights. Knowing him, he will be looking to wrap up this fight night as fast as possible. With both fighters looking to assert dominance and position themselves for bigger and better things in UFC in coming years and especially in 2026, this is a fiery bout we love UFC for. According to bookies Charlie is the favorite to win this one with his odds being set at 1.58. Danile has odds of 2.41, making him an underdog, but if only one of his hits land, he could even pay the 3.55 odds that bookmakers set on him winning by KO.
Billy Elekana vs. Kevin Christian
What makes the November 1st Fight Night so exciting is the number of fights on the prelim card that could captivate the audience. One of those bouts is the duel between Billy Elekana and Kevin Christian. For the latter, this is his first visit to the fighting pits of UFC. The welcoming team is a one man wrecking ball Billy Elekana who is looking to elevate his status in the light heavyweight division. Elekana had a poor start to his UFC career, but to be honest he did jump into fire on short notice for UFC 311. Yet, one defeat doesn’t mark the man for eternity, and for his MMA career, Elekana has a more than impressive 8-2 record. Out of those 8 bouts, six were wrapped up before the final bell, and have been gained in consecutive fashion. As one of the graduates of the last season’s of DWCS, his short UFC stint has been good so far.
Kevin Christian is another product of Dana White’s Contender Series. He did enough in the past to secure an UFC contract, and this fight night will be his UFC debut. Currently he stands on a 9-2 record, and will be looking to get himself a double digit number of wins come November 1st. Christian is a hungry prospect and with an impressive stat of finishing his last five bouts, he will prove a true challenge for Elekana. It is yet another bout where the more experienced fighter is the favoured one to win, as Elekana has 1.37 odds set on his win. Yet, we believe that you can’t put a number on one’s hunger, and under the right circumstance Christian appears to be worth more than his 3.15 odds show on the first sight.
Timmy Cuamba vs. ChangHo Lee
Cuamba is a home grown talent, and the one we know the Las Vegas crowd will be backing in this bout. This bantamweight bout promises a lot of fire that could turn into a wildfire, considering that Road to UFC winner ChangHo Lee will be part of the spectacle. As far as UFC goes, Timmy Cuamba showed on his debut what he’s made of. A win against Roberto Romero, was won fair and square, and was yet another proof of his versatility. After the bout vs. Lee, Timmy Cuamba will be one of the rare fighters who fought and won across three divisions.
After winning Road to UFC with a win against Xiao Long some three years ago, Lee has shown that he has what it takes to fight in the UFC with a win against Cortavious Romious. Not only did he win, but he also collected a Performance Bonus. Considering the odds on all of the fights we’ve singled out, this one appears to be the most evened out at least according to bookies. A win on Cuamba pays with 1.84 odds, while Lee’s has 1.97 odds. An interesting bout that could really go either way.
The fights and fighters we singled out above are the top ones in our eyes. But, that’s not all. Duels such as Donte Johnson vs. Sedriques Dumas, Ketlen Vieira vs. Norma Dumont, Alice Ardelean vs. Montserrat Conejo Ruiz, Phil Rowe vs. Seokhyeon Ko, and Talita Alencar vs. Ariane Carnelossi promise a legendary Fight Night at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
