‘Ridiculousness’ Canceled By MTV After 14 Years

The only show MTV has played for the last decade or so has been canceled. MTV has canceled “Ridiculousness” after 14 years.
The clip series, hosted by Rob Dyrdek, will continue into 2026 with previously shot first-run episodes. No new shows will be produced.
Variety reports, “According to a source familiar with the decision, the cancellation comes as MTV (which is under the Paramount umbrella) looks to feature a more curated slate of content that “embraces its experimental DNA” and represents “different creative voices” and a “refreshed programming.””
“Ridiculousness” premiered in August 2011 and featured a variety of guests watching viral clips alongside Dyrdek.
Guests from the world of wrestling included The Bella Twins (Nikki Bella & Brie Bella), former WCW World Heavyweight Champion David Arquette, former WWE 24/7 Champion Rob Gronkowski, Jimmy Uso and Naomi, Becky Lynch, WrestleMania performer Snooki, Chris Jericho, and Logan Paul.
