Sol Ruca Not Cleared To Compete, ZARIA To Defend NXT Women’s North American Title Against Blake Monroe At Halloween Havoc PLE
ZARIA gets the green light from her partner.
NXT Women’s North American and WWE Women’s Speed Champion Sol Ruca showed up to the 10/21 NXT on crutches alongside her partner ZARIA.
NXT General Manager Ava was in the ring with Ruca and ZARIA for an announcement that Ruca had. She shared that she got injured in a tag match on Friday Night SmackDown during which she and ZARIA faced WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.
She stated that she’s not cleared to defend the Women’s North American Title against Blake Monroe at Halloween Havoc. Monroe made her way out to the ring and said she should be champion since Ruca is not cleared to compete.
ZARIA offered to defend the title on Ruca’s behalf. Ava left the choice to Sol, and the champion agreed to it. ZARIA went on to drop Monroe with her finisher. She then took the North American Title from Ruca’s hands and held it up over Blake.
