Mickie James Feels She Could Do Another Run, But Says She No Longer Has Anything To Prove

James feels she has nothing left to prove.

The newly-inducted TNA Wrestling Hall of Famer Mickie James returned to Busted Open to speak about her career and her newest accolade.

The subject of James potentially being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame was brought up, and she touched on that. She then transitioned into speaking about the idea of having another in-ring run. James knows she could, but feels there’s nothing left to prove other than that she can still hang in the ring.

“Of course it’s nice, of course it’s nice,” James said when asked if she’d like to be in the WWE Hall of Fame. “I think we all like that appreciation back from the company to say, hey, what you did mattered and we value you, and it is that tip of the hat of like, we know that you put in your licks, we know that you took some sh*t and this, that and the third but, we actually appreciate you and respect you and so, I think that that’s always something where yeah, but, I was having a conversation with someone, they were like, ‘Oh, would you do one more run?’ I was like, ‘Hell yeah. I could do one more run. I got it in me,’ and they’re like, ‘Oh, what do you have to prove?’ And I go, ‘You know what? I’ve been really blessed. I think I set out and achieved all my goals. I don’t really have anything else to prove.’ I don’t have anything else to prove. I think I’ve proved everything I could prove and if anything, it would be like, oh, I can still go with these girls but, you know I can. I can whoop ‘em — all — with a backhand.”

James was inducted into the Hall of Fame by Lisa Marie Varon. In this same media appearance, she stated that Varon deserves the Hall of Fame nod.
