Kris Statlander Retains AEW Women’s World Title At AEW WrestleDream, Ends Toni Storm’s Bid For Fifth Reign

Kris Statlander shuts the door on the “Timeless” era in the AEW Women’s World Title picture for now.

Kris Statlander defeated Toni Storm to retain the AEW Women’s World Title at AEW WrestleDream, stopping Storm from winning her fifth AEW Women’s World Title. She then secured the victory with Saturday Night Fever, and afterward, Storm presented Statlander with the championship and embraced her.

Kris Statlander was then interrupted by Mercedes Mone, who kicked her out of the ring so she could kick off her TBS Title open challenge. Statlander has been a fighting champion so far, while Storm’s identity crisis continues as she has failed to recapture the AEW Women’s World Title.
