Naomichi Marufuji: Thank You AJ Styles, It Was An Honor To Wrestle With You

Naomichi Marufuji thanks AJ Styles and states it was an honor to wrestle with him.

At today’s WWE live event in Tokyo, Japan, AJ Styles would not only feature on the card, but also received a farewell moment to the Japanese fans, as he would cut a promo translated by former rival Shinsuke Nakamura thanking the fans. Present at the event was Japanese wrestling legend Naomichi Marufuji, who AJ went out of his way to acknowledge after his match at the WWE live event.

In a new social media post after the event, Marufuji would thank Styles, stating that it was an honor to get the chance to wrestle with him.

Styles and Marufuji met in their only bout together in July of last year in Pro Wrestling NOAH.

Elsewhere during WWE’s live event in Tokyo, CM Punk would cut a promo where he would note that it is a beautiful thing that he got the chance to work with Shinsuke Nakamura in Japan at the live event. You can read more about that here.
