Tony Khan Comments On Kota Ibushi’s Leg Injury That He Suffered On AEW Collision

The AEW President comments on the injury.
The opening match of AEW Collision at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida, saw Kota Ibushi going one-on-one with Josh Alexander.
There was a point in the bout when Alexander had Ibushi in a fireman’s carry position while standing on the middle ring rope. Alexander and Ibushi’s momentum caused them to lean back, and Ibushi fell out of the ring. He immediately began to grab his lower body as the referee checked on him.
The referee then counted Ibushi out as he was being checked on by the ringside medical staff. At the Collision taping, Ibushi was stretchered off.
AEW President Tony Khan sent out a tweet about Ibushi’s leg injury:
We are all very grateful for The Golden Star @ibushi_kota.
In my opinion, he’s one of the greatest wrestlers that I’ve ever seen. He is adored by the AEW locker room + fans worldwide.
We wish him the best as he recovers from the leg injury he suffered on #AEWCollision tonight!
