Kofi Kingston Quietly Re-Signed With WWE Earlier This Year

Another member of the New Day is sticking around with WWE.

A little over 24 hours after reporting on Xavier Woods’ new contract with WWE, Sean Ross Sapp and Fightful Select have now learned some more contract news, revealing that Kofi Kington quietly re-signed with WWE earlier this year.

Kofi Kingston has been a part of WWE for 20 years at this point. After spending the early portion of his career as a singles star, Kingston started to team with other stars like Evan Bourne and R-Truth. Then, Kingston was a founding member of the New Day faction with Big E and Xavier Woods, which debuted in 2014. When it comes to championships, Kingston is very decorated, as he’s a four-time Intercontinental Champion, three-time United States Champion, fifteen-time Tag Team Champion, and a one-time WWE Champion.
