Brian Cage Continues To Keep AEW Return A Mystery After Knee Surgeries

Brian Cage says there are no plans set in stone for his return to AEW.

In April, Cage had surgery on his injured knee, confirming he’ll be out of action for the foreseeable future. Then, in June, Cage had another surgery, this time on his other knee.

He currently states that there is no timetable for his return, and no solid plans are in place. However, he also said that if there were a timetable for his return, he wouldn’t tell anyone because he doesn’t want anyone to have a clue when he might appear on AEW TV again.

He provided an update on the All F’N Wrestling Show.

“I have no idea about any sort of creative plans for our return at all at this point. So, I mean, I guess anything could be possible… There’s a whole wide open of versatility of what could happen, because there’s nothing set in stone at all for when I’m coming back or what I’m going to do when I come back.

“I’m not telling anybody that I don’t want anybody to have an inkling. I want everybody to have no idea of, ‘Oh, maybe around this time,’ because it might be next week, next year, or I don’t know. Who knows?”

When he was last in AEW, Cage was a member of the Don Callis Family. He is also teaming up with Lance Archer as the Murder Machines.
