Tiffany Stratton recalls her first match on live television.
On December 28th in 2021, Tiffany Stratton would make her live television debut in the world of pro wrestling, competing in a short match on WWE NXT. In her debut TV bout, Stratton would defeat Fallon Henley in singles action.
While speaking to Sidewalks Entertainment in a new interview, Stratton was asked what she remembers from her first experience on live television with Tiffany noting that it added a lot of pressure.
“Oh, that’s a really good question. I think what like, kind of added a lot of pressure was that it was live. It was live TV. I remember my first ever match. I was so nervous. I don’t even think I had like a finisher. I think I just made up a finisher that day. So it being live really, really scared me. However, I feel like because of gymnastics, I work really well under pressure because in gymnastics, you only have one chance to do your routine flawlessly. So that kind of carried over to wrestling and with it being live and stuff like that, I’ve learned to roll with the punches and like accept the pressure and just be good under pressure. So yeah, we’re learning, we’re still learning as we go and I’m having a great time while doing it.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Stratton discussed how getting to the Olympics was her original ultimate goal. You can read more about that here.
