Will Kroos reflects on his WWE tryout during SummerSlam week.
During WWE SummerSlam 2025 week WWE held their latest set of tryouts, including several talents from Europe. One such name that partook in the tryouts was current PROGRESS Atlas Champion Will Kroos.
While speaking in a new interview with The A2theK Wrestling Show, Will Kroos reflected on his WWE tryout, noting that it was nice to catch people off guard with it.
“Yeah, I mean, like for one, I’ve always been confident in my ability and like I’ve always known like I can do it, you know, but I would say like, In terms of the tryout, I feel like I was definitely, a wild card, I guess, thrown into it. Obviously I’ve done well going to NOAH and stuff. Then I almost feel like it came out the blue of me being announced for the tryout and that I was there. But to me, I’ve always known. So I was fully confident and fully welcoming the opportunity. But I feel like in a general sense, I feel like people was like, ‘oh, wow, like, Will’s here, Will’s doing this’ so yeah it was real nice to, I guess, catch people off guard, I guess, but then also to follow through and do as well as what I did, because, again, like, that whole tryout, like, that was an amazing experience, I’m ever so grateful again and it was just, yeah, it was just amazing, it was just amazing to be, part of that machine, you know?”
