Penta On Potential TNA Return: Why Not, I’m Open For Everything

Penta comments on possibly returning to TNA.

On Tuesday, September 7, the NXT-TNA partnership will hit a climax, as both brands will battle it out at the Showdown event that. As of publish time, the show is set to feature two Survivor Series-style matches and two title matches.

Appearing on the latest episode of the Battleground podcast, the popular luchador was asked about his history with TNA and if he could possibly appear for the company in the future as a part of the WWE-TNA partnership.

“Why not, man? I’m open for everything. I come to WWE to conquer everything, no matter what. No matter if it’s NXT Championships, no matter if it’s AAA, no matter if it’s TNA, no matter nothing. Right now, my purpose, I am focused on two things. Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship and WrestleMania 42. Penta is open. I want to show to the world who is the real Penta because Penta is violence, passion, aggressive. At the same time, Penta come from nothing and when you come from nothing, you lose nothing. This is my mentality every day.”

Penta last wrestled for TNA in April 2019, losing to Johnny Impact and Michael Elgin in a three way bout.
