Matt Hardy: TNA Started To Rise Up After Hearing Theories About Being A Puppet For WWE/NXT

Matt Hardy is ready to fight for TNA.

The October 7 edition of WWE NXT will be a huge one, as the brand will battle with TNA Wrestling. The brands will clash in two separate Survivor Series matches and multiple title matches.

Specifically, The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) will put their TNA World Tag Team Championships on the line in a title vs. title match against the NXT Tag Team Champions, Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin of DarkState.

On the latest episode of his The Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt Hardy said that TNA started to rise up after hearing chatter about being a puppet for WWE/NXT.

“There’s been a theory out there that TNA is NXT and WWE’s puppet and the more that grew and the more that they made it sound like TNA is less than, I think the guys started to rise up a little bit. They started to rise up and the next thing you know, they all pop up at NXT. Everybody’s fighting and they’re not going to take it anymore. I’m one of the guys that said, ‘Hey man, you guys, especially people in Florida, you should go down there. You should let them know. You should voice your opinion.’ So now, we’re on the brink of war and the war happens this coming week.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Hardy talked about the recent referee incident on WWE SmackDown. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
