Mercedes Moné Defending CMLL Women’s World Title Against Persephone At CMLL’s 10/17 Event
The title defense is confirmed.
In her Moné Mag newsletter, Mercedes Moné confirmed that she would be returning to CMLL on October 17th for their event at Arena México.
While the 10/1 CMLL Informa was ongoing, Persephone appeared on the show and revealed that she’ll be challenging Moné for the CMLL Women’s World Championship at that event.

Moné has been in possession of the CMLL Women’s Title since June, when she won it from Zeuxis at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam Mexico. She’s had one defense of the belt, and that was against La Catalina at CMLL x NJPW Fantasticamania Mexico.
Moné and Persephone shared the ring at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025 when they were in a four-way match for Moné’s TBS Championship.
