Mads Krule Krugger Talks Finally Winning MLW Gold, Saying He Always Trusted The Process
Before winning MLW gold, Mads Krule Krugger was channeling the Philadelphia 76ers.
MLW Fightland was a huge show for Krugger’s career, as he defeated Matt Riddle and Donovan Dijak to win the MLW World Heavyweight Championship. This was a huge step for Krugger’s legacy in MLW, as it is his first time winning gold for the promotion.
Speaking with Jeremy Lambert and SP3 of Fightful Overbooked’s In The Weeds podcast, Krugger was asked if he ever stopped believing that he would win a title within the confines of Major League Wrestling. The 41-year-old responded by saying that he just went along with things and trusted the process.
“I don’t think I ever lost patience. I’m always of the mindset of ‘trust the process.’ My entire career has been a testament to that. It’s just continue to work and make sure that I’m putting myself in position so that when the time does come, I’m ready for it.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Krugger spoke about his ongoing feud with Donovan Dijak. Check out his full comments on the rivalry by clicking here.
