At WWE Wrestlepalooza, The Usos would reunite after both enjoying some time apart as singles wrestlers, including Jey winning the WWE World Title while Jimmy came close to capturing the United States Championship. In their absence, several new tag teams have broken out on the WWE main roster.
While speaking to Comicbook in a newly released interview, The Usos were asked to the newcomers to the tag team division in their absence, noting that they are always excited about newcomers.
Jimmy Uso: “Well, we’re always excited about newcomers. You understand? Because everybody got to, try to prove themselves. So they all wanna step up and they wanna show up at their best, especially like tomorrow night. We got two young hungry dudes here, both named the same damn name, you feel me? They ready to go. So who better to prove yourself other than the longest reigning tag team here in WWE?”
Jey Uso: “Yeah, everyone just have to run up and get done up now. You know what I’m saying? Anybody, SmackDown, Raw, NXT. Y’all really wanna see what it’s about over here. We done body this singles game for a little bit too, man. What you think we about to do to y’all now? Man, we OGs in the tag team now. OGs of the tag teams, that’s us now.”
