Steve Maclin Won’t Have Hurt Feelings If He Doesn’t Wrestle At NXT Invasion

Steve Maclin comments on potentially representing TNA Wrestling at NXT Invasion.

Steve Maclin is very proud of his place on the TNA Wrestling roster. However, he also has roots in WWE NXT. Currently, both rosters are feuding with one another as part of the working relationship between the two companies. A chapter in this rivalry will come to an end at the upcoming NXT Invasion special on Tuesday, October 7. As part of the show, a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match will take place, pitting two teams of five representatives from each roster against one another.

Given his history as a former TNA World Champion, Maclin would be a perfect fit for the team. However, he says that if he’s not chosen, he won’t have any hurt feelings. He told Sports Jedi Network that he is more concerned about regaining his TNA International Championship from Frankie Kazarian.

“So just to be there and back in the Performance Center where all those failed athletes tend to train now, felt really good to be back there and see a lot of familiar faces, and if I am involved with the Invasion angle, so be it. If I’m not picked, it’s okay. It’s not going to hurt my feelings. If I’m not, I get it. Santino has his favorites. TNA has their favorites at times. But for me, I stick to what my goal is, and that’s getting back my TNA International Championship, and that’s Bound For Glory.”
