Influencer Sara Saffari Reveals That WWE Tried To Recruit Her To NXT

Saffari could not move to Florida for three years.

A clip from one of influencer Sara Saffari’s livestream was posted onto social media and in the clip, she revealed that she was contacted by WWE.

Saffari stated that the company wanted to bring her to NXT, but she could not commit to moving to Orlando, Florida and living there for three years.

“I got a DM from WWE to recruit me, okay? And then I got on a call, and they were like… They were trying to entice me on, and they were talking to me about it. They’re like, ‘The only thing, the only caveat here is you have to move to Orlando for three years.’ I was like, ‘I can’t do that.’” Cameraman chimed in and asked for clarification that she was being asked to be a wrestler and not just a special guest and Saffari responded, “Yeah, like start off NXT and then go WWE. I was like, ‘I can RKO.’”

WWE often reaches out to influencers and collegiate athletes about joining the sports entertainment company. Their N.I.L. (Next In Line) program is centered around that.
