Kyle Fletcher: Kenny Omega, I Will Put You On The Shelf For Good Because AEW Doesn’t Need You Anymore

Kyle Fletcher sends a warning to Kenny Omega.

On the September 3rd edition of AEW Dynamite, Kyle Fletcher and the rest of the Don Callis Family would lay out Omega, leading to him being stretchered out after the beatdown. Omega has been off AEW television since then, with Fletcher believing that AEW doesn’t need him anymore.

While speaking to WMUL FM’s Rope Break ahead of tonight’s edition of AEW Collision, Kyle Fletcher was asked if there was any dream matches he wanted to have for the TNT Championship, with the Australian pointing to Kenny Omega.

“I think there is a man who I recently dropped on his head through a table, who is someone I’ve already mentioned as one of my inspirations that I would like to think is going to come back looking for me when he’s healthy again. So Kenny Omega, I am waiting for you. You can do your best to take this championship from me, but it will not happen. I will put you on the shelf for good because AEW doesn’t need you anymore. It needs the ProtoStar.”
