Jon Jones Explains Why He Launched Coaching Career

Former UFC Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones replied to multiple comments on X, and one of those was whether he believes Gable Steveson can become a champion in the UFC.

Jones gave his answer and, while doing so, explained why he decided to venture into coaching and touched on working with Steveson.

It’s not a matter of if he can, it’s a matter of when. I’ve had many great teammates over the years, but I’ve always said if I would ever be a coach it would have to be a Wrestler who was completely committed to success. I found my guy and I’m excited to add world championship coach to my resume.
