The Hardy Boyz Have Been Pitched To Return To NXT As Part Of TNA Invasion
Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy could be headed back to WWE NXT as part of the WWE NXT/TNA Wrestling invasion angle.
WWE has a partnership with TNA Wrestling, which includes WWE Legends Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy appearing on WWE NXT as the TNA Wrestling World Tag Team Champions. In recent months, the on-screen relationship has become more hostile, and a TNA invasion angle in NXT began on the September 23 episode of WWE NXT.
Plenty of familiar faces to WWE returned to the brand as part of this invasion, including Cedric Alexander, Matt Cardona, The IInspiration, and Lei Ying Lee. Now, Fightful Select has reported that Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy are also planned to be part of this invasion in some way.
There were many familiar faces back at NXT that had not appeared during the TNA/NXT partnership, as well as some notable names left off. We’re told there were some talent that WWE preferred to not have featured. We have been told that the Hardy Boyz have also been pitched to appear during the angle as well.
