AJ Styles is ready to face off with John Cena one final time.

Over the past 24 hours, John Cena has posted twice about wanting to know what fans thought of a possible AJ Styles match before he retires, with his second post asking Triple H if he hears the fan reception to the idea of the bout taking place. Now, Styles himself has weighed in on the idea.

Shortly after Cena’s second post, Styles would take to social media himself, answering Cena’s callout by letting him know that he is read for one final bout between the pair.

The pair previously faced off in a series of matches in 2016 and 2017, culminating in Cena capturing his 16th WWE World Championship by defeating Styles in a classic bout at Royal Rumble 2017. At present, the pairs record in one on one bouts currently sits at 3-2 in favor of Cena, with more wins in multi man matches.

In a recent interview, Bronson Reed would be asked who he wanted to face at WWE Crown Jewel in his home country of Australia next month, with the Aussie choosing Cena as a potential opponent. You can read more about that here.
