CM Punk Wants To Play Marvel’s Punisher, ‘I Want To Be Frank Castle’
CM Punk would love to play Frank Castle, Marvel’s Punisher, in a superhero film.
Being a pro wrestler is, for some, the closest thing to being a real-life superhero. Punk is a comic book fan and channels Ben Grimm, Fantastic Four’s The Thing, every time he walks to the ring, saying, “It’s clobbering time.” Now, Punk has revealed which superhero he would like to play in a movie.
In a recent GQ YouTube video, Punk named The Punisher as the character he would like to play if he were ever given the opportunity to appear in a superhero movie.
“I’m CM fucking Punk, it doesn’t get any more super than that. The thing wants to be CM Punk. Frank Castle wants to be CM Punk. No, not really. I want to be Frank Castle, The Punisher.‘”
Punk has famously said he’d want to be Casey Jones in a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie.
