Jaida Parker’s Father Says It’s Been ‘Quite A Whirlwind’ Seeing Her Go From Field Sports To 50,000 People Screaming Her Name

Jaida Parker’s dad speaks on her rise in WWE NXT.

Prior to signing with WWE, Jaida Parker was a formidable athlete in field sports, namely soccer. However, since debuting in WWE NXT, she has been a staple of NXT programming and the brand’s women’s division.

While speaking to Jimmy V3 in a new interview, Jaida Parker’s father and sports coach Tim Caffey was asked about how it feels seeing Jaida going from field sports to packed arenas.

“Oh, it’s been quite a whirlwind, excitement for myself, my wife and you know her brother and her immediate family, her grandparents and things of that nature and her cousins and it’s been just a- you know a whirlwind of excitement and They go watch her in some of the big arenas and see the crowd, how they respond to her and the appreciation that they have for all of her hard work. So we’re really, really excited. It’s been a different type of venue because I’ve been used to seeing her on fields somewhere, either a softball field or a soccer field or even running track back when she was younger. But now to see her with 60,000 people in an arena and and about 50,000 were screaming her name, which is quite the experience.”
