Stephanie Vaquer comments on winning the WWE Women’s World Championship.
At WWE Wrestlepalooza, Vaquer would get her title shot that she earned back at WWE Evolution after winning a number one contenders battle royal. Initially set to challenge Naomi at WWE Clash In Paris, Vaquer would instead face IYO Sky for the vacant WWE Women’s World Title after Naomi would vacate the championship following her recent pregnancy announcement. Vaquer would end up defeating Sky with a Spiral Tap before celebrating with her father, who was in attendance for her title win.
While speaking to Pete Rosenberg following her title win at WWE Wrestlepalooza, Vaquer declared that her title win is the dream of her life, sharing that it was also her father’s birthday.
“This is the dream of my life. I dream with this every day the last 15 years. So for me, my big dream with my dad, first time seeing me live in my match, make history today. First time he see a match show. Wrestling, yes. Ever. First time ever. Yeah, and his birthday.”
Rosenberg would then ask if the title win has set in for Vaquer yet.
“I don’t feel real. Yeah, I feel like a dream and and I love it. I love it because it’s my dream. So, now just enjoy.”
