Tony Khan Reveals He Tried To Get The Rights To ‘Lovin On Me’ By Jack Harlow, But Was Turned Down
Tony Khan and Blake Christian were tied down by Jack Harlow.
Blake Christian has leaned into the Vanilla Baby branding, a nickname that came about thanks to Jack Harlow’s “Lovin On Me.” The song was used in an edit put together by Blake, which blew up and became a meme in the world of wrestling.
The only thing missing from Blake’s presentation in AEW and ROH is using the song for his entrance theme.
At the AEW All Out press scrum, Tony Khan was asked by Fightful’s Joel Pearl if he’s tried to get the rights to the song.
“That, I think, I got turned down on, to be honest. I tried. (Asking PR person off-screen) I believe I got turned down, didn’t I? I don’t want to put any heat on him. He seems like a nice guy. I’ve been around him enough times at parties, and he seems like a nice guy, Jack. I’m glad to hear you support it, and hopefully that will lead to more public pressure for him to accept my offers and overtures,” said Tony.
What the hell, Jack?
