AJ Lee Submits Becky Lynch; Lee & CM Punk Def. Lynch & Seth Rollins At WWE Wrestlepalooza

AJ Lee scores the win in her return.

For the first time since 2015, AJ Lee is back competing in a pro wrestling ring. She officially made her return to in-ring action at WWE’s Wrestlepalooza Premium Live Event, where she teamed with her husband, CM Punk, to take on WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch and her husband, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.

Rollins and Lynch had a special entrance, and they came down to the entrance floor via an elevator. Throughout the first half of the match, Lee had been trying to get at Lynch, but Lynch either avoided her or Rollins would protect Lynch.

Punk finally got to tag Lee into the match after Rollins was lallygagging around and allowed Punk to hit him with a GTS. Lynch tried to wake her husband up and attempted to stop Punk from tagging in the former WWE Divas Champion, but he did, and Lee went straight after Lynch.

The bout saw Lee putting Lynch in her Black Widow submission, and Punk had Rollins in a sharpshooter. Lynch poked Punk in the eyes, and Rollins pulled Lee off, but she ended up locking him in the Black Widow.

Later in the match, Punk Curb Stomped Rollins for sweeping Lee off her feet. There was also a spot when Becky put Punk in a sharpshooter, but Punk reversed it and put her in a sharpshooter.

Rollins would go on to Curb Stomp Punk and covered him, but Lee Curb Stomped Rollins to break it up. Later in the bout, Rollins and Punk were on a table, and Lee and Lynch were on the other table. Lynch tossed Lee into Rollins and Punk, and the table collapsed.

Lynch took Lee back to the ring, but Lee trapped her in the Black Widow, and Lynch tapped out.
