Brock Lesnar Dominates John Cena At WWE Wrestlepalooza, Delivers F5 To Referee Post-Match

Lesnar defeats Cena in the ESPN opener.

The launch of WWE’s partnership with ESPN featured the presentation of the Wrestlepalooza Premium Live Event.

The first match on the bill was John Cena versus Brock Lesnar. Cena’s entrance included a bunch of children who were dressed exactly like him.

Alicia Taylor introduced Cena, but when it came time for Lesnar to be introduced, Paul Heyman came out to do the honors. Lesnar and Heyman ran into each other on the 9/19 Friday Night SmackDown, and Lesnar told him that they should talk.

As the match was ongoing, there was a point when Cena hit three Attitude Adjustments on Lesnar, but it was not enough to put Lesnar away, and Cena ended up taking a multitude of F5s.

Lesnar put Cena away and scored the victory. He then went back into the ring and delivered an F5 to referee Dan Engler. Cameras cut over to a child in the audience who was crying after what happened to Cena.

After a while, Cena got up on his own and walked off. He saluted the crowd before exiting the stage area.
