Orange Cassidy Return Teased For 9/24 AEW Dynamite

Orange Cassidy is seemingly ready to return.

During a backstage segment at AEW All Out, Mark Briscoe noted that MJF was behind him, but he still has issues with the Don Callis Family.

Briscoe said that Callis could pick three of his goons to face himself, Hologram, and a third member of the Conglomeration.

Briscoe asked Kyle O’Reilly, who was on the phone, if he was ready to return and O’Reilly replied, “He said, ‘Whatever.'”

The Congomeration then gave the OC thumbs up.

Cassidy has been sidelined since March.

Fightful Select published the following report on Cassidy in August:

Orange Cassidy has been sidelined for a number of months after sustaining what was suspected to be a torn labrum. He was injured in March and has missed the last five months of action, which affected creative throughout the spring.

BodySlam.net reported this morning that he is cleared, which lined up with much of what Fightful Select has heard when asking about injury updates.

Fightful Select has learned that Orange Cassidy is on the mend, and we were told he’ll be back “sooner than later,” when we asked for an update. He’s not expected to be out through the end of the year like many other injuries, unless there’s a big setback.

Orange Cassidy has been backstage at numerous events recently and underwent shoulder surgery shortly after the injury.
