The Miz: I’ve Had People Tell Me That I Have A Safe Way Of Wrestling, But That Person Is No Longer Here

The Miz was firing shots on the WWE Wrestlepalooza pre-show.

Asked how he got to the spot that he has and maintained it, Miz replied, “I’ve had people tell me that I have a ‘safe’ way of wrestling, but that person is no longer here anymore, so we don’t need to talk about him.”

The former WWE Champion is seemingly talking about Bryan Danielson, who famously called Miz “safe” during their promo battles on Talking Smack. Danielson was retired at the time due to injuries, but managed to return to the ring.

"Well, I had people tell me that I have a safe way of wrestling, but that person is no longer here anymore. So we don't need to talk about him."

Danielson retired from full-time competition in 2023. He remains with AEW as an announcer. His former foe is still an active in-ring performer, though he is not scheduled to wrestle on WWE Wrestlepalooza.
