Over the past month and change, Drew and Rhodes have been feuding in the leadup to their WWE Championship main event at WWE Wrestlepalooza. While the feud has gotten more personal as it’s gone on, for McIntyre it has not been a matter of jealousy.
While speaking to Cathy Kelley in a new interview ahead of WWE Wrestlepalooza, Drew McIntyre would be asked if he was jealous of Cody, with McIntyre vehemently denying that idea.
“The eyes I’ve always found are the windows to the soul. You can always tell when somebody’s lying by looking them right in the eyes. So do me a favor and zoom that camera right in, and look into my eyes right now when I tell you there is not one single thing about Cody Rhodes that Drew McIntyre would ever ever, ever be jealous about.”
