CM Punk Says Vince McMahon Was Very Upset When He Bleached His Hair In 2010, ‘All Hell Brooke Loose’
CM Punk says all hell broke loose when he dyed his hair blonde in 2010.
CM Punk has had a variety of looks throughout his entire career. Sometimes he has long blonde hair, sometimes he has a shaved head, and during his AEW career, he occasionally wore long tights that he affectionately called his “longbois.”
In WWE, appearance changes must be approved by those in charge due to potential merchandising issues that might stem from outdated appearances on action figures and other items. However, if you are CM Punk, especially the 2010 version that was extremely burnt out, you don’t care.
In a recent GQ YouTube video, Punk revealed that when he bleached his hair blonde in 2010, Vince McMahon wanted him to change it back immediately. Punk even quipped that all hell broke loose.
“I did bleach my hair one time in the middle of a run I was on in the Straight Edge Society, and all hell broke loose. It turned into a big thing where Vince McMahon was very upset with me and demanded I dyed my hair back, and I refused to do it. Turned into a thing.”
Vince McMahon is no longer in charge of WWE after being named in a sexual misconduct lawsuit by a former WWE employee, Janel Grant.
