The Righteous Make Surprise Appearance At DEFY Wrestling Show

The Righteous reemerge.

Back in May 2025, it was spotted that The Righteous (Vincent & Dutch) were removed from the AEW roster page. It was then reported by PWInsider that The Righteous requested their respective releases from AEW/ROH, and it was granted. The site noted that the split was amicable.

The Righteous have not wrestled since an ROH on HonorClub taping in April. For the first time since then, they appeared in a ring for the DEFY Wrestling promotion.

The duo reemerged and showed up at the promotion’s ‘AEON’ event on September 19th. They laid out Midnight Heat (Eddie Pearl & Ricky Gibson) after their match. Vincent then stated that it’s time to push the veil aside and welcome The Righteous.

Fightful Select posted an update on The Righteous several weeks ago. We noted that the duo is set to finish up their independent dates over the next few months. There is word that WWE has interest in them, and sources relayed to Fightful that they may already be signed to the sports entertainment company.
